About the Confidence Coalition
We believe in a world of confident, healthy women and girls with positive self-image, big dreams and support for one another.
Created by Kappa Delta Sorority in 2009, the Confidence Coalition is an international movement that encourages women and girls to stand up to peer pressure and media stereotypes, say no to risky behavior and abusive relationships, and put an end to relational aggression, such as bullying – on the playground and in the office. The coalition brings together organizations and individuals who support the confidence movement. We believe that by joining together, we can reach the women and girls of the world with the message that they are good enough, that they can make their dreams a reality.
Our awareness campaigns, resources and action projects shed light on the many issues that can affect the confidence of women and girls while empowering them to reach their full potential.
Vision: A world of confident girls and women who embrace the belief that they can achieve anything and consistently exceed their own expectations.
