The “Friends Say the Tough Stuff, So Say It” campaign raises awareness of dating violence and encourages friends to offer support, advice and intervention when they believe a friend is in an unhealthy relationship. According to Love Is Respect, girls and young women between the ages of 16 and 24 experience the highest rate of intimate partner violence—almost triple the national average.
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Join the conversation on social media by uploading an image along with a link to loveisrespect.org. Or download the fliers below and hang them in prominent places around your school, campus or community to spread awareness about dating violence.
